A modern-farmhouse sliding barn door built for real rooms — solid core, pre-primed, and milled in either a clean K-style 2-panel layout or a classic Z-style 1-panel with cross-brace. Slides to one side to reclaim the swing arc, so you get a full door without giving up the floor.
Ideal for principal bedrooms, ensuites, laundry rooms, pantries, and open-plan spaces that need a partition without losing square footage. Sliding application only — pair with a barn-door track kit sized to roughly twice the door width.
Key Features
- Solid-core construction — proper weight, quiet glide, good sound isolation
- Choose K-style (clean 2-panel Shaker layout) or Z-style (classic farmhouse cross-brace)
- Pre-primed white or grey face — ready to paint or stain to match your trim
- Engineered stiles and rails with a hardwood edge for long-term hardware load
- Made in Canada with 50+ years of manufacturing expertise
- Space-saver: slides to one side, no swing arc, no lost floor space
- Backed by a 1-year limited manufacturer warranty
Construction
Solid-core slab. MDF face bonded to a pine core with engineered wood stiles and rails and a hardwood edge. K-style: clean 2-panel Shaker layout with square mouldings. Z-style: single panel with cross-brace for classic farmhouse look. Made in Canada.

Community Q&A
Q Is this a slab door or does it come pre-hung with a frame?
Check the variant options above — most of our doors are available as either a slab (door only) or pre-hung (with frame, hinges, and sometimes hardware). Slab doors are ideal if you’re replacing a door in an existing frame. Pre-hung is best for new openings or full frame replacements.
Q How do I know what size door I need?
Measure your rough opening (the framed hole in the wall) — width, height, and wall thickness. For slab replacements, measure your existing door. Standard Canadian interior doors are 80″ tall. Common widths: 24″, 28″, 30″, 32″, and 36″. Always measure before ordering.
Q Can I paint or stain this door?
Yes — our pre-primed doors are ready for painting right out of the box. We recommend a high-quality latex paint for interior use. Lightly sand the primer first for best adhesion. Two coats are usually ideal for a professional finish.
Q What handing do I need — left or right?
Stand on the side where the door swings toward you. If the hinges are on the left, it’s a left-hand door. If hinges are on the right, it’s right-hand. Many of our doors come in reversible handing — check the variant options. If you’re unsure, send us a photo and we’ll help.
Q Does the door come with hardware (handle and hinges)?
Pre-hung doors include hinges. Door handles/knobs are sold separately so you can match your existing hardware. Slab doors come without hinges or hardware — you’ll reuse your existing ones or purchase new. The door is pre-bored for standard hardware.
