How long does delivery take?
Most orders ship within 1 business day. Standard delivery is 2–5 business days Canada-wide. Remote or northern areas may take 5–10 business days. We'll always send you a tracking number so you can follow your shipment in real time.
How are large items like vanities shipped?
Vanities ship via freight carrier (Day & Ross or similar) on a protective pallet. Delivery is curbside — the driver brings the shipment to your driveway or building entrance. Please have someone available to help move the vanity inside, as freight drivers are not typically responsible for inside delivery.
Do you deliver to apartments and condos?
Yes. For large freight items, please ensure elevator access is available and inform your building management about the delivery. Curbside delivery means the carrier brings items to the building entrance — you'll need to arrange getting them to your unit. Contact us if you need to discuss inside delivery options.
Can I change my delivery address after ordering?
Contact us within 24 hours of placing your order at info@homecaresupply.ca. If the order hasn't shipped yet, we can update the address at no charge. Once an order is in transit, address changes may incur a carrier fee that we'll communicate before making any changes.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Inspect all packages immediately upon delivery. If you notice any damage to the packaging or product, take photos right away before signing anything. Contact us at (416) 318-5684 or info@homecaresupply.ca and we'll arrange a replacement or full refund. Do not refuse the delivery — accepting with noted damage is the right process.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we ship within Canada only. We deliver to all provinces and territories across the country, including remote communities served by Canada Post. We do not ship to the United States or internationally at this time, though we're evaluating cross-border options for the future.
Is there a way to expedite my delivery?
For time-sensitive orders, contact us directly before placing your order. We may be able to arrange express shipping via FedEx or UPS Express for an additional fee. Next-day pickup may also be available at our Vaughan or Burlington showroom depending on product availability.
What's the difference between parcel and freight?
Parcel shipping (UPS, FedEx, Canada Post) handles smaller items like faucets, hardware, and accessories. These ship in standard boxes and can be left at your door. Freight shipping (Day & Ross, specialized carriers) handles large and heavy items like vanities, doors, and flooring on pallets. Freight requires someone to be home to receive the delivery.
Do I need to be home for delivery?
For standard parcel deliveries, packages can often be left at your door or in a secure location. For freight deliveries of large items (vanities, doors, flooring), someone should be available to inspect and sign for the shipment. The freight carrier will typically contact you to schedule a delivery window.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order ships, we email you a tracking number for your specific carrier. You can track directly on the carrier's website (UPS, FedEx, Day & Ross, Canada Post). You can also visit our Track Your Order page for centralized tracking. If you haven't received your tracking number within 2 business days of ordering, contact us.
