Three ways we make it right

If something goes wrong with a covered product during your plan term, HCS will — at our discretion — repair, replace, or reimburse the full purchase price. Shipping, parts, and labour are 100% covered with no deductible.

Repair

New, rebuilt, or manufacturer parts. On-site service arranged for vanities and furniture. Cleaning or care kits mailed when appropriate.

Replace

Comparable product shipped directly to your door. All shipping and logistics covered. If repaired twice for the same defect, a replacement is issued automatically.

Reimburse

Cash reimbursement or store credit up to the original purchase price. Applied fast — usually within one business day of approval.

What we cover

Every HCS Protection Plan covers one of these products. If you want to protect more than one, purchase a separate plan for each item. Plans must be added within 30 days of your original order.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens after I buy?

You'll receive an email confirmation with your plan details and the 3- or 5-year term start date, which begins on the ship date of your covered product. No registration required — your plan activates automatically when your order ships.

How do I file a claim?

Contact us at info@homecaresupply.ca or call (647) 233-5442 with your order number and photos of the issue. We review claims within two business days of receiving complete documentation.

How will issues be resolved?

Our team determines the best resolution — repair (including on-site service for furniture and vanities), replacement with a comparable product, or cash reimbursement / store credit capped at the original purchase price (excluding taxes and fees). All shipping, parts, and labour for covered claims are 100% covered. See what's covered or view full plan details.

Can I transfer my plan to a new owner?

Yes. Coverage transfers automatically with the product. The new owner must notify HCS in writing within 30 days of the transfer to maintain coverage. No fee is charged for transfers.

Can I cancel?

You can cancel within 30 days of plan purchase for a full refund, provided no claims have been filed. After 30 days the plan is non-refundable except where required by provincial consumer protection legislation.

What if I already have coverage from my credit card or home insurance?

Your HCS Protection Plan is pro-rated with any other applicable coverage you have. We work with your other insurer directly when a claim overlaps. If your manufacturer's warranty covers the defect in question, the manufacturer's remedy is pursued first and HCS covers any remaining gap.

Plan Details & Legal Terms

This summary is an explanatory document and is not your service contract. For complete terms and conditions of the coverage and certificate of protection, review the sections below. This document is effective as of January 2026 and supersedes all prior versions.

You already have a legal warranty

The Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) provides a warranty on all goods purchased from a merchant. Goods must be usable for their ordinary purpose for a reasonable length of time based on the price, contract terms, and use conditions. The HCS Protection Plan extends additional protection beyond your manufacturer's warranty and does not replace it. For more information on the legal warranty, visit ontario.ca/consumer-protection.

Limits of coverage

The maximum total payout for all claims under a single Protection Plan is capped at the original purchase price of the covered product, excluding taxes and fees. Your coverage includes repairs, replacement, and associated shipping fees. All shipping, parts, and labour for covered claims are 100% covered with no deductible.

If a product is repaired twice for the same problem and a third repair is needed for that same problem within any 12-month period, HCS will, at our option, replace the product with a comparable product or provide cash reimbursement / store credit. This does not apply if the damage is from a different cause or separate incident.

Once the total value of all claims paid under a Protection Plan equals the original purchase price, the plan is considered fulfilled and no further claims will be accepted. Any remaining term is void upon fulfilment.
