Shower Buying Questions

What's the difference between frameless, semi-frameless and framed shower doors?
Frameless shower doors have no metal around the glass — cleanest modern look, easiest to clean, but require thicker tempered glass (³⁄₈" or more). Semi-frameless have minimal framing around edges — balanced cost and look. Framed doors have metal tracks on all sides — most affordable, uses thinner glass.
Which shower head type should I choose?
Rain shower heads give the most luxurious overhead experience. Handheld showers are essential for accessibility, kids, and cleaning the stall. Shower systems combine both — a rain head plus handheld wand on a slide bar. Shower panels are all-in-one wall units with body jets, built-in shelves, and multiple outputs.
Do I need a thermostatic valve?
Thermostatic valves keep water at a constant set temperature even when pressure changes (toilet flushes, washer runs). Strongly recommended for families and anyone with kids or elderly — prevents sudden hot/cold shocks. Required by Canadian code in many new installations.
How long does shipping take?
We ship Canada-wide in 3–5 business days from our Vaughan and Burlington warehouses. Glass shower enclosures are packed in reinforced crates.
What's your return policy?
30-day hassle-free returns on all showers. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Custom-sized glass is non-returnable.

About Our Showers & Shower Enclosures

Home Care Supply carries a full range of showers and shower enclosures for every Canadian bathroom — from walk-in frameless glass to corner neo-angle enclosures, plus the rain heads, handheld wands, and thermostatic systems to match. Every piece ships direct to your door in 3–5 business days from our Vaughan and Burlington warehouses.

Choosing the right shower enclosure

Walk-in showers are the modern choice — open, accessible, easy to clean. Corner enclosures maximize small bathrooms by using an unused corner. Neo-angle showers fit diagonally into a corner for extra floor space. For doors, frameless is the premium look, semi-frameless balances cost and look, and framed is the most budget-friendly option.

Shower heads and systems

A basic single head works fine, but most homeowners upgrade to either a rain shower head (luxury overhead experience), a handheld shower (accessibility + easy cleaning), or a full shower system that combines both on a slide bar. Thermostatic valves are strongly recommended — they lock water at a constant temperature even when toilets flush or washers run.
